Hi!

I'm the Heidi, of Heidi Hodge Photography. I've had a camera in my hand for at least a couple of decades now, learning the craft with film SLR's, and more recently my beloved Canon 5D MarkIII. 

Most of my early albums are full of photos without people, a reflection of my love of natural landscapes. My background in environmental management has undoubtedly influenced this indulgence. More recent studies in Professional Communications made me fall in love with words, all over again. Seems like a perfect collaboration of passions colliding!

I've since worked out that people and events can be quite interesting to photograph also - who knew?! None moreso than when you realise what a special moment you're capturing in perpetuity. 

Living in rural South Australia I'm bound to have a rural bent, but it's not all about sheep and tractors :)
